1982 Honda CB 450 Night Hawk. This bike is totally custom, and a professional build. This is one of the most comfortable bikes I have ever ridden, is fast, has stunning looks, and is truly, a one of a kind. The entire front end and wheel, is from a YZ 250 Yamaha Motocross bike, as well as the Mono Shock and reservoir. The front forks have been cut down by 7 inches. The front end has a 7 degree rake. The seat is extremely comfortable. New brakes. New cables and braided line to front brake. Renthal bars were installed, along with an extremely bright Carbon Graphite headlight. Very bright LED tail light as well. K&N filters. The tank has been cut and and channeled, so it sits lower on the frame, and has a pop up gas cap. Magura Hydraulic clutch, with break away clutch lever. Six speeds. The motor and everything on it, and the gearbox have been totally rebuilt with no expense spared. The main center portion of the frame has been boxed to hide electronics. Custom wire harness. The only wires that are slightly seen go back to the tail light. The battery is below the motor in a custom box, along with a pigtail for charging. The entire frame, engine, both wheels, and the fork tree, have been Powder Coated in satin black. Custom exhaust pipes with after market Ducatti mufflers. The sound is absolutely amazing! Throttle response is immediate! This bike runs and rides perfect! The specialty of this builder is suspension. While this bike is half the weight of an older BMW I have, it is way smoother over bumps in the road, with no jarring to the lower back when riding over larger bumps in the road. I feel the builder is an artist as this bike has Street Tracker, Bobber, Cafe Racer, and Enduro all rolled into one. I have recently installed a brand new RK Racing Chain and Lithium Battery, as these were the only used items installed on the original build. I feel this bike has proven itself as I have ridden it 2,134 miles since the build, and the first 500 miles were ridden easy, for the proper engine break in period. Since these pictures have been taken, I have removed the crash pad on the bars, and moved the Speedo more forward. There is only one problem I have had owning this bike. After the first few weeks of riding, I decided to buy a gas container, and fill the tank at my place of business before a ride, because almost every time I would pull into the gas station, I would have to stop and talk with at least one or more people about the uniqueness of this bike, and it would cut into my riding time. The only original parts on this Honda Night Hawk, are the major part of the frame, the motor, and the rear wheel. This was an $11,400 build. It's a steal at what I am asking. Other than riding this bike, one of my greatest pleasures has been just looking at it. Sometimes I just can't stop. Please call Jack. Thanks for looking and safe riding to all.
